As many of you know, my sister and best friend, Ashley, moved to Atlanta last month to be with her fiancée, Andrew.
The day before she moved, we had a small gathering at my parents house to see her off.
Mom cooked and we watched the LSU game. Ashley was surrounded by some great friends to see her off.
Oddly enough, we did not take any family pictures.
Later that night, I helped Ashley pack up her car so they would be ready in the morning.
They boys were being very helpful…
The next morning, Ashley and Andrew headed to Atlanta with Caronna
It is a new chapter in Ashley’s life and I am glad she is with Andrew. It has taken some getting used to not to have my Ashley next door, but I will survive. Doug and Andrew have been wonderful during the transition to the girls.
We now have Wednesday night Google Hangouts to see each other once a week and the plan is to see her once a month.
Ashley and Andrew have started a blog to chronicle their upcoming wedding. She actually blogged about her move if you want to read it here.
