I can tell you to say it was a whirlwind is an understatement. It was exhausting, wild, busy, hard, intense, busy and exhausting. I was still healing (C-Sections are no joke) and learning how to be a mom of two amazing babies.
They were so little and so sweet. I learned a lot that week. Babies are life changing, but twins are world changing. Literally everything changed. No one can explain that kind of change to you. You just have to do it.

In that first week, I went outside for the first time in days. It was a bit liberating. I was still wearing my fancy hospital gowns at home!
Before we knew it, it was time to take their first week photos! They were a week old already!
It was also the 5th of the month so we took our first family cinco!
Then we took this on my scheduled due date (38 weeks):
It had been a crazy, busy week. We had a lot packed into that week. I am glad we took some photos because now it is a blur. I did not sleep much that week and I am glad I can look back on these photos warmly.
