On Sunday, Sarah and I planned on getting up and heading to church early. Before our alarm clocks actually went off, there was a LOT of noise downstairs that woke us up. We heard screaming, laughing and excitement. When I went downstairs I realized why. Trebor had PROPOSED to Stephanie on the front porch. Congrats you two!
Sarah and I headed to a packed Catholic mass and then joined the group at the beach. We did have to make one quick run to Target as I had to replace my Fitbit. (I got the new “one” and it rocks.)
Once we got on the beach, we relaxed and I laid under my broken umbrella. It was a lovely day!
We played a little football, volleyball and splashed around a bit in the Gulf.
We headed back to the house to clean up and get ready for the LUAU THEME NIGHT! The theme night is famous if you know the krewe. They dress up every year and it makes for fabulous photos.
We went down to the beach for our photo shoot.

We at lasagna that night (it was so good) and were honored with a dramatic reading from Wes that I will never forget. Wes, thank you for the most amazing story time I will ever experience. :)
Sadly, our trip had come to an end. The next morning Sarah and I packed up early and left to get home as we both had events to attend.
Thank you Amanda, Brian, Matt, Wes, Kim, Stephanie, Trebor, and Emily for having us on your annual trip. We were so honored to be there and you were all SO hospitable. We had a blast with you guys! Thank you so much!
