On Sunday, March 30, we got gussied up and headed to City Park to see Chris (Rummel) marry his bride, Candace. 
I met Rummel right after Katrina as he had to switch school and ended up in my brother’s class.
He is hilarious and I always enjoy being around him. When we received his wedding invite, we were pumped. We even planned our Italy trip around their wedding date!
We arrived to find Alex and Janice. Rummel was shaking hands and kissing babies. 
The ceremony started and here is the bride walking up the aisle. 
The officiant was entertaining to say the least. We think he might have had some bubbly before the show.
Alex’s buddies were groomsmen…
The ceremony ended and we headed over to sit in some sunshine. Believe it or not, we were chilly!

It turned out to be a really pretty day!
Then we headed to the reception in Kenner.
Evidently the couple loves Star Wars so they had a entertaining welcome as they entered the reception hall.
