5 days later…the chickens are growing like weeds…

I went to see the chickens 5 days later and they are already MUCH bigger!

They day after we brought home the 4 chickens, Mom and Dad went to get 4 more females to complete the chicken family. The count is 8 hens to lay lots of yummy eggs!

Sleeping chicks:

Hey! Get that camera out of my face! :)

The chicks have to stay inside for a few months. We spent a lot of them with the chicks sleeping on our laps (with a towel to catch any accidents as they are not paper trained, yet..ha).

They really are fun. I hope they stay this sweet!
