We did Thanksgiving with BOTH families this year and it was full of fun, calories and family.
We celebrated Thanksgiving with my side the weekend before actual Thanksgiving Day. It was fabulous. Mom cooked up a storm and it was delicious. Sadly, I did not take one photo of the event. Shame on me.
This was the first year that Doug and I took off of work for the whole Thanksgiving week. I must admit it was pretty nice not to rush to Memphis after work on Wednesday.
We arrived in Memphis on Tuesday afternoon and headed to a restaurant called…
It was strongly recommended by a friend of mine so we treated Doug’s Mom and Steve to dinner. 
I ordered too much (as usual) and dined in the hustle and bustle. 
There was a 45 minute wait when we arrived, but they must use the Disney waiting rules. We actually only waited about 20 minutes. 
It was delicious!
The following day we celebrated Thanksgiving in Memphis with Doug’s family. All the usual suspects were there…
Oh…and the people too…
It was a delicious dinner and fabulous weekend. After dinner we played Telestrations – SO FUNNY.
We had a great trip! Thank you for having us!!!
