4 year anniversary with the db

Today is officially our 4 year anniversary. We celebrated it over the weekend and will continue to celebrate it today.

I started to think about what we have done for other anniversaries and was pretty successful, except for the first one. I have listed what we did so I don’t forget!

4 YEARS:
This anniversary was celebrated mainly on Sunday. We slept until 1130 am (it was glorious!) and got up in time to watch the Saints play. It was a fantastic game for Saint’s fans and if you like to see the other team’s quarterback get sacked 30 million times. Anyway, we watched some more football, went for a run/walk, went to church and had some dinner. It was very relaxing and easy, especially compared to our previous anniversaries as you will see below.

3 YEARS:
We went on a 3 week road trip from Nola to Pennsylvania. We stopped to visit friends along the way and finished the trip with a bang (Doug’s sister’s, (Jenni) wedding! We kept a trip blog and did all kinds of stuff like make our own candy bar at Hershey Park, go to DC and see some monuments, paint Janessa’s wall and other random stuff. If you are bored and want to see the trip blog,

2 YEARS:
Doug surprised me with a trip to New York. He told me a week before to have a bag packed and ready to go. He had planned a quick trip to New York and he purchased tickets to see Rock of Ages! It was such a surprise. He did a fantastic job. (I bought him a custom print made about us – 1st picture)

We had the smallest hotel room ever made! We just laughed when we saw it.

1 YEAR:
I can’t remember!! It is so sad…I am going to think about it, look through pictures, old calendars and memory boxes. I will get to the bottom of this and will let you know when I figure it out. Sheesh!
(I did ask Doug if he remembered what we did and he can not recall either. Either we did something terribly boring OR this just proves how bad our memories actually are. )

We plan to continue celebrating our 4 year anniversary this evening with some dinner, RCIA and budget meetings! I am pumped! Open-mouthed smile

I hope you all have a great week!

Love and Hugs, Lizzie
